Breitenfeldt Group is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Temporary Medicare Insurance Review Specialists now through the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period.

What You’ll Do
Training & Development
During your first weeks with BG, you will complete training and obtain your Minnesota health insurance license. Once licensed, you will learn the ins and outs of Medicare products, enrollment processes, and our internal systems so you can confidently support members during the upcoming enrollment season.
Beginning October 1, you will work directly with members to review and discuss insurance options for the upcoming year.

As a member of the phone intake team at Breitenfeldt Group, your primary responsibility is to greet members and prospects, collect information, and direct individuals to the appropriate department or team member. This temporary seasonal position supports our team during Medicare’s busiest enrollment period and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service to those seeking Medicare guidance.
Breitenfeldt Group will provide comprehensive training on company systems, customer service expectations, HIPAA compliance, and Medicare basics. Responsibilities
You will:
• Always ensure confidentiality and control access to sensitive information.
• Answer voicemails and return calls or direct tasks to the appropriate team.
• Ensure full customer satisfaction and maintain a friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Schedule appointments for members and prospects.
• Greet members and prospects and, when applicable, verify protected health information (PHI) and other pertinent information prior to notifying the appropriate team or team member of their arrival.
• Maintain a clean and orderly reception area.
• Maintain a log for any maintenance services performed in the office.
• Order office supplies as needed for the office location.
• Process and distribute postal mail based on the needs of the office location.
• Record customer interactions and data by documenting notes appropriately in company systems.
• Run special errands for the office as needed.
• Strive to maintain a positive atmosphere within the department.
• Update databases with returned or undeliverable mail.
• Work together as a team to keep each other informed of internal updates and industry changes to ensure current and effective strategies are in place.
• Work with members and prospects in person, over the phone, and through email to identify their needs and transfer them to the appropriate team or team member.
• Ensure signs are posted and updated for office holiday closings, agency meetings, and other office communications.
• Support the organization during Medicare’s Annual Election Period by ensuring callers and visitors receive timely and accurate assistance.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service, reception, administrative, call center, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable learning and working within multiple computer systems.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support team success.
