Medicare Advisor

Immediate Start/Full-Time

Location- MN- Edina

Job Summary:
The Medicare Advisor at Breitenfeldt Group works with prospective members in identifying their needs in order to promote appropriate company products and services.

You will:

  • Work with prospects in person, over the phone, and through email to identify their needs
  • Obtain Health Insurance licensure and keep up with continuing education
  • Build up detailed knowledge about the company’s products
  • Educate prospects on company products and services along with other resources available to them
  • Ensure confidentiality and control access to sensitive information
  • Ensure full customer satisfaction and maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor
  • Participate in determining Medicare or Social Security enrollments
  • Record customer interactions and data by recording notes appropriately in CRM
  • Review and sign materials compliantly, as authorized
  • Use resources effectively to find information to complete work independently

 
In addition to the items above, you will also be required as a:

Medicare Advisor to

  • Complete the annual AHIP exam
  • Hold MN carrier appointments and successfully complete annual certification
  • Understand how to navigate the Medicare website to find answers to prospect questions
  • Understand election periods and eligibility
  • Understand all plan types including Supplement, Advantage, Cost, and standalone pdp

Temporary Medicare Member Advisor

Position start date: 7/5/2021 End Date: 12/10/2021

Location- MN- Alexandria, Long Prairie, Waite Park, or Woodbury

Job Summary:
The Temporary Medicare Member Advisor works closely with our current Medicare members and reviews their health and prescription coverage to ensure full customer satisfaction by identifying the members needs and addressing and/or solving member’s coverage concerns.

You will:

  • Accurately complete applications and other required documents
  • Assist current members in person, over the phone, and through email to identify and resolve their
    needs
  • Educate the member on resources that may be available to them
  • Effectively execute member reviews for health, dental, vision and prescription coverage
  • Use resources effectively to find information to complete work independently
  • Complete licensing requirements
  • Ensure confidentiality and control access to sensitive information
  • Provide members with timely information when requested
  • Record customer interaction and data by recording notes appropriately in the database
  • Strive to maintain a positive attitude

Temporary Employee Support Specialist

Position start date is immediate and active through 12/21/2021

Location- MN- Waite Park

Job Summary:
The Employee Support Specialist at Breitenfeldt Group will be responsible for greeting prospects and members when they call or come into one of our office locations and direct them to the appropriate department. It is also their role to assist in ensuring the office is stocked with supplies.

You will:

  • Accurately complete and scan or fax applications and other required documents to the appropriate department
  • Assist current members and prospects in person to identify and direct them to the appropriate department
  • Assist current members and prospects in person to identify and direct them to the appropriate department
  • Lift boxes up to 45 pounds
  • Need to have the ability to travel outside of your designated home office to run errands including mail, if applicable
  • Ensure office is equipped with supplies necessary for all staff to perform their day to day job functions
  • Use resources effectively to find information to complete work independently
  • Ensure confidentiality and control access to sensitive information
  • Record customer interaction and data by recording notes appropriately in the database
  • Strive to maintain a positive atmosphere in the department

 

Extra Credit:

  • Experience in Medicare and/or health insurance enrollment
  • 1-2 years customer service experience
